Encountering the Presence of God written by Joanne Ellison September 17, 2026 - March 18, 2027 Holiday Break: November 19th - January 7th
Synopsis
Why do some people find God in a way that others do not? Why does God manifest His Presence to some and yet multitudes of others settle for less? God desires that all of His children encounter Him daily. That they go beyond the veil of knowing Him intellectually to seeing Him and experiencing Him in a deeper way. The idea of cultivating a spiritual awareness of the Presence of God has been lost in the busyness of today’s world. The saints of old, however, understood that God was as near as their own souls and closer than their most secret thoughts. We have traded slower, transformative methods for fast-moving and dramatic flash encounters. As a result, we are finding ourselves spiritually bankrupt. Join me in learning to cultivate the gift of encountering God through His Holy Spirit and be prepared to enter a slower-paced, less dramatic, but profound way to host His presence.
